Not the Saturday Night News
This is an original comedy revue based on the format of two newscasters reporting up-to-date headline news. Interspersed between the headlines are skits relevant to the subjects. The script can be adapted and has been patterned after the original T.V. comedy series "Saturday Night Live." This show has appeared on stage from London to Singapore and is updated the week of the performance and tailored to the client's information.

Lies My Mother Told Me The premise of this hysterical original comedy is that three women are meeting for lunch and discussing their day-to-day lives when . . . sorry the ending is a surprise. This 45 minute comedy is ideal for luncheons or after dinner entertainment for women's groups. It requires only a small stage and has a cast of 3.

A Couple of Blaguards This two-man comedy has achieved critical acclaim around the country and is a rollicking bit "of Irish fun." Running time is one hour and forty-five minutes, including a fifteen minute intermission. This show is ideal for dinner theater and is available on a seasonal basis.

Frank McCourt, the author, won a Pulitzer Prize for his memoir "Angela's Ashes," the basis for this two-man show. The play stars Broadway actor and playwright Graham Thatcher, and playwright and professional film and stage actor, Alan Austin.

A Sample:
Frank: The Women of Limmerick! Ah the women. Is there anyone in the civilized world who hasn't heard of their beauty, their piety and the ferocity of their chastity? The favorite word of the Limmerick woman is no!

One of the funniest shows you'll see in your lifetime.

Lights, Camera, Murder
Join in the fun at Prickly Pear Prep's 1968 class reunion. Meet the famous movie star Melinda Malevolent, her sleazy talent agent and our super sleuth, Sgt. Sydney Sizzlechest (think Marilyn Monroe as a detective) among others. You can even become part of this spoof on murder mysteries as the class cheerleader, football star, etc. Includes 2 actors, stage manager, 23 guest parts/props, and clues to find.

Mafioso Murders
This original 1930's comedy mystery is an evening you will long remember as you dine with infamous gangsters, their families, friends and even enemies. Written for Morton's of Chicago, this show can be performed in any private venue. Includes 2-4 actors, stage manager, 20 guest parts/props, and clues to find.

Spy! (An International Murder Mystery)
Spy! is our award winning comedy mystery placed in the Casablanca Club of the 1940's. Celebrities and military personnel from all over the world come together to celebrate V.E. Day, 1945, not realizing that behind the scenes, spies are trying to steal the plans to the atomic bomb. Includes 6 actors, stage manager, 16 guest parts/props and clues to find.

Who Shot the Sheriff?
This comedy was nominated as the best production of an original script by the Arizona Theatre Alliance in 1998 and is based on the history of Arizona, 1882. As you arrive, you pay your last respects to the sheriff who is laid out in his coffin and meet several of the locals. Over dinner, the town meeting commences and you become part of the townspeople (i.e., town banker, mayor, saloon girls, etc.) to vote on who you think shot the sheriff. Includes 9 actors, stage manager, 25 guest parts/props, and music/songs.

Mansion Club Murders
This roaring '20's mystery was originally written to take over several rooms at the Wrigley Mansion and is the only show which can be performed in more than one room. We create an authentic 1920's speakeasy, complete with flappers, mobsters, and body guards. There are also surprise appearances by Rudolph Valentino and Mae West. Includes 12-14 actors/singers, stage manager. Jazz band suggested.

Vampire Death Frenzy
This interactive dinner show gives clients the opportunity to dust off their capes, masks, and costumes for an evening they will not forget. They join fellow vampires, werewolves and the like to find out if the coffin recently located at ASU did, in fact, belong to a vampire. The show includes 7 actors, two Stage Managers and special lighting/sound effects. This is an interactive event and not a murder mystery.

Please note: These performances are subject to availability. Prices include actors, props, guest bios/props, and standard lighting/sound equipment. 5.7% tax is added. For larger groups, professional sound equipment is required and available at an additional fee.

Other themes, available with advance notice include: a Masquerade Ball about a mafia family throwing an annual costume party (even though one of the brothers was reportedly killed the day before), a train murder mystery set in the 1930's which can be produced on either the Verde Valley or Grand Canyon trains, and a dinner party for guests who met in Africa the year before (when the famous Mombassa Momma diamond was stolen and a detective was murdered). Additionally, we have 4 writers on staff who can write a mystery based on just about theme imaginable (with enough notice!!).
