King Tut's Curse - a MysteryOur newest show, "King Tut's Curse" is based on a 1920's English Manor House and its history. An interactive murder mystery dinner show from the award- winning writer of SPY - The Manhattan Murder Mystery, guests join friends, family and servants who await the return of Lord Middleton who has been overseas for 10 years. It is rumored that he was last seen at the Tomb of the boy King - Tutankhamen. With the curse of the manor house and the tomb, his welcome home party may not be what was planned.

The evening begins with music from the Roaring 20's as guests enjoy cocktails and inspect several treasures already shipped to the Manor House including a 6-foot Tut coffin. At this time, our butler, Prestwick and our maid, Molly, will hand out character biographies to guests who will have the opportunity to play the parts of royalty, servants, archaeologists, etc. They will also be given props to help them get into character for this comedy murder mystery.

Following the cocktail hour, the action will progress over dinner with murders, several revelations, and an opportunity for teams of guests to find clues in the venue and an interrogation by a visiting detective, Mr. Holmes, the nephew of the famous Sherlock Holmes. At the end of the evening all of the guests have a chance to guess whom they think committed the crime. A prize will be awarded to the winner.

The production includes beautiful costumes of the era, wonderful replica Egyptian props, music and sound effects, and props for the guests. It is best performed over a 3-4 course sit-down dinner but can be arranged around a buffet - as long as the courses are broken up to allow for action in between. It was written for up to 120 guests and can be expanded with staging and professional body mics.

There are 4-7 professional actors (depending on the size of the group) and parts/props for 16 guests to play the supporting cast. This murder mystery dinner show is ideal for corporate entertainment.
