Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre
A roaring 20's murder mystery by Alan Austin

It's 1926 - a time of flappers, illegal hooch, a budding Hollywood scene, and more gangsters than police. This murder mystery dinner show starts over cocktails when guests meet Harry the Hooch (the resident bootlegger), Mae West, Rudolph Valentino, Sonny the Shark, Marco Vincente, and more. As they enjoy meeting these infamous characters, a professional singer entertains with music of the era.
Following the cocktail hour, guests are escorted into dinner where a murder is committed and mayhem prevails. It seems two of the hoodlums don't know what to do with the body and keep leaving it in the phone booth, men's room, or anywhere else they can dump it. This Laurel and Hardy team keep the guests in stitches while everyone is having their picture taken with Miss West or Mr. Valentino, or are busy looking for clues, or learning to dance the Charleston. Marco, our host who likes to think he can sing, stays close to his machine-gun-carrying bodyguards, since two of his molls show up to get jobs in Hollywood and his wife is at his side - literally. Maybe he will be next!
This show was originally written for the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, Arizona, but can be performed in almost any venue. It is specially designed to take place in more than one room, so it is ideal for venues where guests are seated in more than one area. The show includes a cast of 10-14 (dependending on the number of guests involved) and at least one professional Stage Manager to coordinate the event. Costumes are extremely colorful and add to the overall production. The event lasts about 2½ hours and should be performed over a sit down dinner (either 3 or 4 courses). Advance notice required. Ideal for corporate entertainment for large groups.
Serving all of Arizona including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Prescott, Tucson and more!
