In this original comedy murder mystery dinner show we take you and your guests back to May 12, 1945 to celebrate "V. E. Day" (victory of the Allies over Germany). You have been invited to join Arizona's celebrities and socially prominent, to mingle with mysterious guests and dine with a Russian hero.
The evening begins with 1945 music during cocktails when you will meet Betty and Frank Spencer (he owns an aircraft factory) who are your hosts. At this time, the Stage Manager will hand out character biographies to 16 guests in the form of "top secret" files and they will have the opportunity to play the parts of infamous spies, doctors, and scientists. They will also be given props to help them get into character. A singer is available to perform songs of the era during the reception.
Following the cocktail hour, the action will progress over dinner with two murders, a song by a French singer, several revelations, an opportunity for up to 14 teams of guests to find clues in the venue and an interrogation by the F.B.I. At the end of the evening all of the guests will have a chance to guess who they think committed the crimes. A prize will be awarded to the winner and a brief synopsis will be given, explaining that many of the characters they played were based on real people.
The murder mystery dinner show includes beautiful costumes/uniforms of the era, standard sound equipment/props and a professional Stage Manager to coordinate all details with the venue. It is best performed over a 3-4 course sit-down dinner, but can be arranged around a buffet -- as long as the courses are broken up to allow for action in between. It was written for up to 120 guests and can be expanded to include up to 300 guests with staging and professional sound. Ideal corporate entertainment.
